My students are motivated and hard-working 5th graders who show great enthusiasm for learning through great Literature. I would like to encourage and facilitate their reading comprehension and character development by making wonderful novel sets available. Our class consists of a wide variety of academic abilities as well as a large number of English learners. We use Chromebooks to complete most of our assignments digitally every day. Having hard copies of excellent, high interest novels will allow me to create a blended learning environment during Reading rotations. My current students as well as future students in my classroom would benefit from a complete class set of novels.
