Our school is a small, rural K-8 school. Total we have about 125 students. Since our school is so small all the students are best friends and most of them are actually family. Our students are very sheltered and usually get the short end of the stick in our district since there are so few compared to the other schools. When you walk in the doors of the school you immediately get the feel of walking into your home. Everyone knows each others name. My school is one of the best small schools left.
