I teach 2nd grade in a beautiful school in the city of Richland, WA. I have 25 students in my classroom and we have over 100 second graders. Students are ability-grouped for a portion of their day for both math and reading, so one student may have 3 teachers in a day and my classroom is home to more than just those 25 homeroom students. We are a lower income school where all of our students are able to receive a free lunch. The community at Marcus Whitman is strong and welcoming and much like a family. It is a great place for students to learn and grow!
