I teach transitional kindergarten. I have the young students who are thought to be too emotional immature to be in kindergarten. I have a wonderful class of 21 students. I am strict at the beginning of the school year, therefore, I don't have to worry about rule breakers to often. I teach at a high poverty school with over 90% off our students receiving a free lunch. We offer a free after school program as well as a migrate program. More than 50% of our students are bused to and from school. The students thrive for an education and with these materials I can give them a fun and healthy alternative to watching television and playing video games.
