The school were I work is a Middle/High School. My students range in age from 11 (6th graders) to 18 (12th graders). Each day, working as a school nurse, can be a new adventure. Clinic visits I might see could vary; from something as simple a stomach bug or the common cold, to something more severe like broken bones, asthma attacks, or heart arrhythmias. My students depend on me in their time of need. Having the appropriate medical equipment &/ or supplies to deal with health problems from the minor to the major emergencies is essential to School Nursing.

About my class
