Listening Station was one of my favorite things to do at school as a kid. My students are the same way and I love it! Having these books and CD's will allow them to experience the joy of reading while also hearing fluency and learning what that sounds like. Giving the students the opportunity to hear some favorite books read again and again while following along will give them the ability to one day read the books all by themselves! The books on CD will be used during reading groups individually or with a partner/group. However, used it will give the whole class the chance to hear authentic books and fluency together.
