In this unit, students will be introduced to various ethical dilemmas regarding uses of technology that stand to change human relationships for better or worse. Students will reflect on the role of technology in their own lives and its impact on their personal relationships. Students will investigate these topics in editorials as well as young adult science fiction. I would like for students to develop a self-awareness of their uses of technology and, as a result, become more responsible users of tech in the future. I hope students will deepen their appreciation of human interaction and will consider the impact of technology on personal relationships.
