My fantastic first graders are eager to learn and motivated to succeed. They come to my class as emergent readers and leave loving to read everything they can get their hands on. We are a Title 1 school with a commitment to providing our students with a literacy-rich environment. Many of my students do not have access to books at home, so my class library is of utmost importance in exposing them to as much text as possible.
