The carpet will go right in front of the calendar where we will meet first thing every morning. Having this carpet will provide each student with their own place to come to when we gather for lessons or group work. Having their own personal space will also help them while learning self-control. We can come together more efficiently and effectively when all of the students know exactly where to go. This will also aide in transitioning students off the carpet because they are in nice straight color-coded rows that are easily dismissed. This will provide fewer distractions and less stress in the classroom providing a healthier learning environment. Thank you for your consideration.
