Flexible seating will help my students who need to move about, but who also do better with standing or sitting on a yoga ball or who even need to be able to make that choice by day. It will help those students who may need to get that extra energy out or who may not be able to do their VERY BEST work by staying seated the entire day or by staying seated on a hard chair the entire day. Some students can concentrate more in class by being able to get energy out with flexible seating or having a more comfortable seat for them. When students are comfortable, they will learn better and work together better in class than if they were annoyed with the seat or uncomfortable with something else.
