I have a very diverse classroom. Many of my students come from very low income homes. I teach all students, from honors kids to special education students. They can't afford to pay for art supplies. We have 100% free breakfast and lunch. They thrive with hands on classes such as my art class. I currently have students who are interested in going to art school after graduation and are working on their portfolios. My students are very passionate about their art and love to have it displayed in our district and county art shows. We also have a yearly auction which students donate pieces of art to be sold for money to buy supplies. We also display art in the community at local businesses.
