My students are amazing! They come to school each day with open minds and an eagerness to learn. The students who attend my school are mostly Hispanic and their families are low income. Even though many of the families have experienced some kind of heartache or setback, they are supportive and kind. I have never experienced a school where the parents demonstrate support and respect for the teachers as much as at my school. The mission of our school is to ensure that all students of the community become life long learners and become productive members of society. This includes providing educational services to our parents. To instill this vision in our students, every student cites the Pledge of Allegiance, as well as our school affirmation every morning.
