Students in my classroom have a misconception that science is about memorizing facts and inventing new technology, I want them to throw out this misconception and understand that science is a way of thinking. I teach Environmental and Earth Science to grades 9-12 at a law-themed charter school. Our school takes children from under served communities and prepares them for college while training them to participate in our democratic society.
