My students all come from low income families. They are slow to trust adults, but once they do, they are dolls. My students have more baggage than most adults I know. They love attention, and positive feedback. Most of my students are not on grade level. My students love to be read to, enjoy interacting with adults that make them feel safe and overall want to do well. My school have a wonderful group off teachers that will go above and beyond for our students. My principal is the most understanding and patient principal, the students and staff respect him. My school is servicing a neighborhood that needs help, and our staff is always raising the bar and going above what is expected.
