Most students enjoy playing games. These games will add an element of fun while learning important math concepts as well as encouraging cooperation and collaboration during group work. These games will provide cross-curricular experiences by building both language and mathematical skills and opportunities for diverse learners to improve academic achievement across all ability levels. Because of the collaborative learning experiences while playing the games, this type of peer interaction will provide these opportunities for diverse learners. My vision includes implementing the games on special days to provide a more hands-on learning experience by breaking the students into small groups or partners to focus on particular math concepts.
