My students are enthusiastic, passionate, curious and thirsty for learning. They love exploring, creating and being involved in their own learning. My students are unique and want to be appreciated for their differences. My students come from middle to lower socio - economic backgrounds and 100% of my students are on free or reduced lunch. Despite the fact that many of my students come from disadvantaged backgrounds, I do not allow my students to use this as a hindrance. They are expected to come to class everyday prepared and ready to learn at the STEAM Academy.
