We need a document camera so my students can see text from books, nonfiction text features and pictures projected onto the big screen. With this document camera, students will be able to see pictures, text and different parts of books and images as they are projected onto the big screen. This will make sharing books with them much easier. They will be able to display their own work for the entire class to see at the same time. This can help with class editing, praise and sharing. Using the camera during math will help students see modeling from all angles of the room. In science, students will be able to see projection of items that are being learned about. Examples are rocks, types of soil and different plants.
