The iPad will allow me to provide individualized instruction for students who are below grade level. I will use the iPad in a center to remediate specific skills that are lacking. In the 2008 edition of "Eurasia Journal of Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education," Cheng-Yao Lin says that the use of computers not only best addresses the needs of visual learners but also serves as a motivator for learning to students. Websites and computer apps allow students to see and manipulate math, such as geometric shapes, in ways that they are unable to do in a traditional math classroom. Furthermore, students are more willing to do math if it is technology based.
