My 21 students are ambitious learners. They are very tech-savvy. My school follows the responsive classroom model, where we believe in student-centered learning. I have a wide range of learners this year. Every subject is completely differentiated. The only part of the day that is not is our "family" read aloud time aka dinner and a movie (snack time read aloud). We just finished reading the Tale of Desberg's by Kate DiCamillo. Every single one of my students hung on every word I read. They loved the rich vocabulary and how each character developed. They also all now strive to be chivalrous just like Desberg's!
