I teach at a high poverty school within the inner city of Grand Rapids MI. My students have daily challenges in their personal lives yet alone lack of materials. Our High School itself has many challenges with it being a priority school and one of the lowest ranking schools in MI. As a new teacher at it is my goal to bring the Art program up to district and National standards by getting the supplies they need to do so.
