Cuddle swings provide multiple benefits to students with special needs. Specifically, my students have struggles with having overstimulation or under stimulation, or both in different areas. This cuddle swing provides them with the deep pressure that is needed to relieve certain sensory needs that they are lacking. It also provides vestibular stimulation which helps with balance. Lastly, it provides a reward that students will work extremely hard to receive. It is often hard to find things that my students are interested and willing to work for. The swing that we did have has taken a turn for the worst. It was very loved by the students as they would do anything to earn it!
