I teach in a rural middle school in Northwestern North Carolina. I teach every student in the school- around 500 total. I enjoy seeing the students grow and develop higher order problem solving skills as they progress from 6th to 7th to 8th grade. I teach every student for one semester each year. My students come from a very diverse variety of backgrounds. They are interested in being 21st century learners and my class revolves around this.
