My students mostly come from minority families whose second language is English and want to be successful. They are ready to learn everyday and happy to be in the classroom. These students are very respectful and have no behavior problems. I believe that they deserve the best learning experience and that a lack of manipulatives should not be an issue. They deserve to have the materials they need in order to be successful and because of the school we are in we are only provided with incomplete and outdated sets of manipulatives.
