Many began in our district in middle or high school speaking not a word of English. They struggle each day to learn the language, succeed in their school work and engage with their teachers and peers. Unfortunately, their efforts aren't always recognized and their presence isn't always welcomed. These students are mature, hard-working and curious. They will be forever grateful for your kindness and support!
