As an educator, I value the importance of teaching my students to be good citizens. Being a good citizen starts with being aware of current news and is followed by taking the time to understand and think through this news. Scholastic Magazines will provide my students with just that- current news written in a 4th grade friendly way that sparks conversations and builds knowledge. With opportunities to discuss relevant news in the safe space of our classroom, my students will be able to think deeply, ask questions and form their own ideas and beliefs- all while having fun!
