Wiggle seats help students with hyperactivity move while they work. Instead of asking to go to the bathroom, or asking to get a drink, or asking to sharpen their pencil, they're able to stay at their area to complete the assigned task because they're getting the movement they need. Wiggle seats let kids wiggle around in their own space without distracting or invading the space of those around them. The kids can wiggle and write simultaneously. Wiggle seats are great for all kids as sitting in a stationary chair can be difficult for any one. By ordering a small group of wiggle seats, I will be able to supply them to my students with hyperactivity, while also using them as a reward or option for other students in the classroom. Wiggle seats would be a huge asset to the classroom and to meeting the needs of students with hyperactivity as well as students who enjoy movement while learning.
