Students rotate around 3 stations during intervention. Each station has the traditional desk and chair. At the first station, students receive direction instruction from the teacher. At the second station, students read a leveled passage with the guidance of a teacher. Finally, at the 3rd station students read independently stories of their choice. Plush, flexible and cozy seating at the 3rd rotation will replace the stark furniture they currently use and will allow students to enjoy a good degree of movement while reading for pleasure. They can change positions to find their best spot to stay calm, focused, and productive and make reading a joyous experience.
