A document camera will make projecting items onto the smart board a million times easier. It will also give me more of an opportunity as a teacher to show the students how to correctly annotate and take notes on passages in real time. Literacy is all about picking up good habits as readers that will in turn, assist in your comprehension abilities. This is exactly what the document camera will do in the classroom. It will show students, through guidance from the teacher, how to tackle these extremely difficult passages that are often found on end of grade level tests.
