My students will be using K'Nex, magnets, craft sticks, cups, and other craft materials to build devices that will prevent a potential rock slide and salvaging a car from the bottom of a lake. These materials will be used to spark imagination and drive creation. These materials are essential to give my students an opportunity to explore, build, learn from their mistakes, and re-design. The scenarios are real-world problems that would spark great ideas to find possible solutions in our part of the state. My students are receiving a great opportunity to explore how engineering impacts us all on a daily basis.
