I plan to provide each of my 5 teams/table groups with a Chromebook so they can: *Easily and quickly research questions that impact their project based learning, specifically in the areas of science and social studies/history. *Create collaborative photo essays supporting their standards based work as narrative, informational, and opinion writers. *Use applications that allow them to contribute their work to the classroom blog, obtain fluency in their multiplication facts, share E-mails with interstate 4th grade pen pals, experience the fun and challenge of coding, and work independently, or in teams of 2, when they need practice in English Language Learner concepts. *Access computers every day in a safe, well-monitored environment so they catch up with their peers and become age appropriate experts.
