My full day Pre-K classroom is full of 16 very active 4 year old children. Our school is in the inner city and our children receive free lunch. The students must qualify for the program based on income levels and other at-risk factors. For many this is their first experience with school. They love to come to school and always show an eagerness to learn and explore. The pride on their faces when they learn something new or master a skill they have been working on is a benefit to my job.
