The Fire Tablets I am asking for will give my students the ability to access educational apps and games that will help improve their Reading and Math skills. Individual accomplishments will give my students the confidence they need to become independent learners which will make them more successful throughout their school careers. The Fire Tablets will be used in my second grade classroom daily allowing my students to work independently using technology to build their skills. Programs such as Waterford Reading and Math, Big Brains Math and AR will be utilized during their "tablet time". My students are eager to earn AR points but their limited access to computers henders them. Their successes will make them want to be lifelong learners and eager to participate in anything that is expected of them.
