My students come in with varying levels of exposure to mathematics. I work as hard as I can to fill in any gaps from prior courses and to push my students who are ready to learn as much as they can but often even with the differentiation that I plan I am not getting all of my students the appropriate amount of help to make them as prepared as they can be to be successful at the next level. My goal is to meet every student where they are at and to push them as far as I can during the year they are with me. Access to these Chromebooks would mean that I could use the online program Khan Academy with my students to help them grow. These Chromebooks could be used with students who struggle with prior concepts to help them master content they need to be successful with current skills in class. The Chromebooks could also be used to teach my top students new skills when they have mastered the current content in class so that they would not have to wait for the rest of the class to move on. This project will help me to ensure that all students are getting exactly the help that they need when they need it. Thank you for considering funding my classroom so that my students can reach their full potential.
