I am a middle school science teacher. I work with 6th & 7th grade students to bring science alive. Whether they are journeying into our nearby park or working in our "lab" they are excited about science. I work in a NYC public school in the Bronx, where most students are on the Federal Free Lunch Program and many students receive special education services or are English Language Learners. Our budgets are very slim, which leaves little room for buying many things needed for the classroom. I would like to work with live specimens, chemicals, etc, but I need both those things and safety equipment. Hopefully with your help and Donor's Choose, I can work on getting supplies and equipment for science at my school.
