Our students can use electronic tables for interactive learning and to support them with extra practice and repetition. To address these needs and bridge their achievement gap, we would like to add the use of electronic, smart tablets to support our special education students, many of whom are also learning English. The use of this technology would provide the additional practice and repetition our students need. In addition to breathing life into any academic content, the tablets would help meet the needs of various students who learn through different modalities. They are great tools for the Universal Design of Learning.
