My students are second language learners. For some of them, this is their first time in this country and or ever in a classroom. My school has worked hard on meeting the students linguistic needs. We put a lot of effort into developing their English language skills. I said WE because I worked closely with their teachers to address their needs. In addition, my students are very motivated to learn and enjoy working in my small room. When, I come into their classrooms, they are elated and are not afraid to ask for help. They enjoy learning and are not afraid to take risk. My students are from K- 5th grade.
