I work with 4th-8th grade students with PMLD (profound multiple learning difficulties). At this stage in their education, they are focused on gaining as much academic knowledge as possible while learning to be more independent and interactive. They work so hard in order to achieve their highest potential; we celebrate every milestone from single digit addition to walking down the hallways by themselves. Being more independent will open up so many opportunities for them as they transition into high school and focus more on vocational training. They are determined and hard working and want more than anything to have an opportunity to show people what they can do.

About my class
