In our room we have a motley crew. I have students from all different walks of life. The school in which I teach, does qualify as Title I. This means a large percentage of my students come from low income homes. My students are faced with challenges day-to-day that some of us don't want to even think about. In my classroom I have students who are varying academic levels. I have some readers who exceed the 8th grade reading level and I have others who barley read above the kindergarten level. No matter their academic achievements, each child offers his or her own personality and ability to the classroom. I have a great group of students. They bring me joy and laughter on a daily basis.
