My first grade students come to me with a wide range of abilities, interests, and knowledge. They are active students that love to learn. They do their best when the classroom environment feels safe, like home, and like they are a crucial part of our school family. I believe in inclusion in my classroom and try my best to keep all of my students in my classroom and learning together as often as possible. For this reason, I need a large range of materials to meet the individual and special needs of all of my students. We are a school family and we all do our best when we can learn and grow together.
