Flexible seating would allow my beginning learners to take the first step in being an active participant in their own learning. I have noticed a big difference when my students get to choose how and where they get to complete their work. Currently my students are sitting or standing at their desks, or they are able to get a clip board and sit or lay in a carpeted area. Every child learns differently and at their own pace, so why shouldn't they be able to choose where they want to sit within the classroom in order to foster their own learning. The products that I have selected will give my students more learning choice by allow them to choose their own flexible seating. The flexible seating that I choose will also be beneficial to those young students who just need to get their wiggles out during they day. All the items are adjustable, kid friendly and can be moved around the classroom with ease. I can't wait to see how much further my students learning can go with flexible seating!
