Our music program services seventy percent of the student population of the school, and the average class size is 50 students, with some classes as large as 65 students. Students come from all different socioeconomic levels, backgrounds, and experience levels. Every student has a distinct set of experiences coming into the music room. Ninety percent of the students receive their first musical training in my class in sixth grade, and only 5 to 10 percent of students receive private music lessons outside of school. We work very hard to keep this wonderful and comprehensive program thriving!
