Building social emotional skills is important in developing the whole child. A welcoming environment helps students to feel safe with being vulnerable and expressing themselves. Feelings cards, conversation starters and puppets will be used to help students share some of their experiences while being involved in an activity that they enjoy. Let's help students learn that strong social emotional skills assist with managing emotions, making responsible decisions and maintaining positive relationships. These skills are a used to enhance academic and life long success. This project will help students develop confidence as they develop and enhance social emotional skills for lifetime use.

About my class
