My students have moderate to severe Autism and are in class sizes of either 6:1:1 or 12:1:1. Many of our students are non-verbal, have behavioral and sensory issues but they still love to be active. My students struggle with gross motor skills and often their special needs can get in the way of their learning. Our school is located in a low-income and urban setting. I want to create a fun and active environment for my students to learn skills to improve their fitness. With your help, we can create an environment where the students can be successful with new skills and lead them towards a healthy lifestyle.
