I have 20 beyond brilliant 4 and 5 year old students. They are sponges ready to learn and absorb everything they are exposed to. They come to me from all paths. Some have been previously exposed to educational settings, and some are encountering friends and school for the first time. My goal is to bring all these tiny humans together and focus on building a strong foundation where they will begin their educational careers. Our school is a top rated school in our county and expectations are high. I aim for excellence and high assessment scores in my class. With Common Core coming down the pipeline, I feel pressured in preparing these kids from their very first step in school. A strong foundation holds a strong mind, and in my eyes, we are starting strong from the bottom up. My kids are all eager in different ways but they all have the love for technology in common. I feel that with technology in their future, that I MUST integrate it in every way that I can in our classroom.
