I work with special needs students who have been evaluated and have an exceptionality of Developmentally Delay, Learning Disability, and Other Health Impaired. The students are working below level and require accommodations and modifications across all environments to access skills and make progress in the classroom. They are a great group of students that adapt well to people showing a caring attitude and motivation for what they are expected to learn. They need to know you want to make a DIFFERENCE!! My students need to have special attention due to their different learning styles. I work at a GREAT school. I have been at this school for 37 years -"It's my home away from home." The school has an estimated number of about 500 plus students. The administration and staff work hard to teach with strategies that will impact student learning. The school know the importance of all stakeholders- students, teachers, parents and especially community volunteers in order to impact learning.
