A teacher with sixteen years of experience, Mrs. Dickson strongly believes that educators must help students discover their gifts and talents while transforming them to become the critical thinkers, advanced communicators, creative problem solvers, and advanced researchers of the 21st century. As an educator, Mrs. Dickson strives to foster an environment that is conducive to developing talent and igniting passions for learning in all students, especially those underrepresented in the gifted program. She exposes not only gifted identified students, but also talent development students to differentiated curriculum that enhances their creative and critical thinking skills. Projects focus on multiple intelligences and STEAM and allow student to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
