My School is a fairly large 3-A school with a diverse ethnic and socioeconomic base. A large proportion of our students come from very poor single parent homes with little to no educational support or opportunities to foster learning. My classes contain around 30 students each and range from non-readers, ELL learners, SLD students, to the academically gifted. I have a number of students repeating Biology and are desperately struggling with the vocabulary and content in general. These students need extra interventions and attention to encourage and enhance their learning.
