The item that I am requesting for my students is to aid them in their virtual learning when they are in quarantine. Teaching during a pandemic has many challenges, the greatest one is giving students a quality education while they are in quarantine. This is where you come in! We currently have a large number of students out that are quarantined. We are on the verge of doing hybrid learning. At the moment, they log into Google Meet from home and watch me teach the lessons. The problem lies in the technology we are using. In order for my students to see me teach, I have to turn my document camera upside down and prop it up. The challenge here is that I can no longer utilize the document for its intended purpose and the feed is goes from light to dark. This is NOT giving my students the quality education they deserve. I am asking for an OWL camera. This camera offers a 360-degree camera, mic, and speaker combined into one easy-to-use device. This device will help me create the experience of in-person participation for virtual and hybrid learning. I can walk around my classroom and teach like I normally do and the camera will follow me. The microphone will pick up my voice where ever I am in the room, giving the students the feel of being in the classroom.
