These coding robots will help students to learn how to persevere through challenging tasks using computational thinking. Students will use the Cozmo bot to complete specific task through coding. Cozmo allows students to play games, communicate, and code with a cute robot friend. Cozmo tells jokes, plays games, and moves through obstacles with student help. Not only will Cozmo be used in my math classroom with standards in measurement and shapes but Cozmo will also be used a “class pet”. Using the robots for math can make teaching distances, time, and angles engaging and exciting! Cozmo teaches responsibility because students must feed him, exercise with him and play with him in order for him to stay engaged.
