Comfortable places to learn are very important in any classroom. The desks that are currently in our classroom take up so much space because we have 24 of them in our room. We even had to loose some centers to make room for the desks. Centers are extremely important in early childhood to help with various learning skills. If we can get tables so that students can be grouped together it would give us more room to bring our centers back for them to enjoy. Centers are important in Early Childhood because they promote problem solving strategies and creative thinking. Children do not get to play enough because of the digital world we live in so any opportunity they can get to just play and be a kid is so important. Our centers are currently in storage and have to be dug out so that they can be used. This is very time consuming.
